FAQ - Orders & Shipping

What shipping carrier do you use? 
-We exclusively ship UPS Next Day Air.
What days do you ship out orders?
-We ship Monday - Wednesday to every state in the continental U.S.(excluding Alaska and Hawaii). All orders placed Thursday - Sunday, will be shipped out the following Monday. To maintain freshness, orders are expected to arrive within 1 - 3 business days from the day your order ships. In some cases, if we are unable to fulfill all Next Day Air orders on Wednesday, we will ship them on Thursday to guarantee delivery by Friday.
*If you need your order delivered on a specific date, please reach out to us via email at info@herradinawagyu.com or text/call us at 951.722.0886 to let us know the specific delivery date and we will be happy to ship your order accordingly. 
Do you ship to PO Boxes? 
-No, we do not ship to PO Boxes due to the perishable nature of our products. 
What happens if I'm not home when my order is delivered?
-It is your responsibility to track and receive your order. To ensure the freshness and safety of your delivery, please keep an eye on your shipment with the tracking information provided, and make sure you are available to receive it upon its arrival.
How are orders and packed and shipped?
-To maintain the premium quality, our products are individually sealed in vacuum sealed packaging. All orders are shipped frozen in an insulated box with dry ice or ice packs. 
What should I do when I receive my order? 
-All orders are packed to deliver frozen or partially frozen. Upon receipt, immediately refrigerate or freeze your items. The meat is shipped frozen and can be safely stored in the freezer for up to 6 months. If it arrives partially frozen but remains cold to the touch, it is safe to refreeze. 
Do you ship on major holidays?
-We do not ship on major holidays, and sometimes not on the day before or after, to ensure the quality and freshness of our products.
Can I place an order over the phone? 
-Yes, you can give us a call at 951.722.0886 to make a purchase over the phone. 
Can I place an order as a gift?
-Yes, our meat makes an incredibly thoughtful and delicious gift. To arrange this, place your order as you would for yourself. When you get to the shipping section, just use your recipient's address. Please remember that you will be receiving the shipping emails and will need to notify the recipient that the order is being delivered.
